The “RD (AI character) Development Project,” supervised by Visiting Scientist Reina Akama of the Natural Language Understanding Team (Associate Professor at the Center for Language AI Research, Tohoku University), was launched on September 17, 2025.
This project is being carried out on the official fan club site “Akai Yume Gakuen” of children’s literature author Kaoru Hayamine. It introduces an AI character “RD” from the popular Kaitō Queen series (Kodansha Aoitori Bunko), allowing fans to actually converse with RD.
