Members of the Explainable AI Team — Kaito Watanabe (Student trainee), Taisei Yamamoto (Student trainee), Tomoki Doi (Research Part‑timer I), and Hitomi Yanaka (Team Director) — have received the Best Paper Award at the ACL 2026 Student Research Workshop (SRW).

The ACL Student Research Workshop (SRW) is an international venue for student researchers conducting studies in fields such as computational linguistics, natural language processing (NLP), and machine learning. The Best Paper Award recognizes outstanding research contributions by student authors, and two papers were selected for the award this year, including this work.
