On July 24, 2026, the RIKEN Center for Advanced Intelligence Project (RIKEN AIP) and National Taiwan University (NTU) co-hosted the “NTU AI-CoRE & RIKEN AIP Workshop.”
Building on a strong history of joint research and personnel exchange, this workshop aimed to push the collaboration even further. Researchers from RIKEN AIP and NTU’s AI Center of Research Excellence (AI-CoRE) gathered to present their latest work and discuss key advancements in machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI).
The event began with opening remarks from Dr. Masashi Sugiyama, Director of RIKEN AIP, and Prof. Lin-shan Lee of NTU. Over the course of the day, 18 researchers from both sides delivered keynote and spotlight talks. The lively Q&A and active dialogue provided a valuable platform for participants to deepen connections and map out future joint research initiatives.
