A research group led by scientists from RIKEN AIP has developed a novel system that can support examiners in fetal cardiac ultrasound screening using artificial intelligence (AI).
The system received regulatory approval from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare as an AI-equipped medical device program (as of 29 July 2024).
The research team includes Masaaki Komatsu, Deputy Team Leader and Ryuji Hamamoto, Team Leader of the Cancer Translational Research Team at RIKEN AIP
