From February 10 to 21, 2025, the MATRIX Institute in Australia hosted the “Splitting Algorithms – Advances, Challenges, and Opportunities” workshop. This event focused on discussing the latest developments, challenges, and future prospects of first-order algorithms and splitting algorithms.
As part of the special lectures, four experts, including Team Leader Akiko Takeda of the Continuous Optimization Team (Professor at the University of Tokyo), conducted week-long courses.
