The Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) has announced the recipients of its FY2022 Ministerial Awards for Science and Technology.

Director of AIP Center, Masashi Sugiyama, Kentaro Inui, Team Leader of the Natural Language Understanding Team and Tatsuya Harada, Team Leader of the Machine Intelligence for Medical Engineering Team received the FY2022 MEXT Science and Technology Award.
