A research group consisting of members from the Institute of Materials and Systems for Sustainability (IMaSS), Nagoya University; the RIKEN AIP Data-Driven Biomedical Science Team; GlobalWafers Japan Co., Ltd.; iCrystal Inc.; and Sony Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation has achieved cross-organizational optimization. This was accomplished by constructing and optimizing a digital twin in a virtual environment that spans the entire process from silicon wafer manufacturing to CMOS image sensor (CIS) fabrication.
These research findings were presented on March 17, 2025, at the 72nd JSAP Spring Meeting.
