RIKEN AIP is planning an event for female students in the fields of mathematics, information and AI. This time, a planning meeting for the event was held at the RIKEN AIP Nihonbashi office. 13 female faculty members and 21 female students (mostly graduate students) from around Japan, gathered to discuss the promotion of Ph.D. studies in the field. After the meeting, we held a seminar and a poster session. The event, named “Summer camp for undergraduate students” is scheduled for this September.
The program was supported by the FY2023 RIKEN Diversity Acceleration Fund.
