Professor Emeritus Geoffrey E. Hinton, the University of Toronto visited RIKEN Center for Advanced Intelligence Project (AIP) in Tokyo, gave a special lecture on November 20, 2019. During the question-and-answer session following the lecture, an active exchange of opinions took place with participants.

Prof. Hinton won the 2018 ACM A.M. Turing Award and2019 Honda Prize.
