An awards ceremony was held for the second RIKEN EIHO Award and RIKEN BAIHO Award on May 24, 2019. Research Scientist Gang Niu, Imperfect Information Learning Team received the RIKEN BAIHO Award.
It is in recognition of his research activities that Weakly Supervised Classification and Robust Learning as the recipient for the RIKEN BAIHO Award this year.
RIKEN BAIHO Award: Awarded by the RIKEN president to those who have accomplished an “original R&D achievement that can be expected to be highly regarded within the field” or “outstanding research support that has made significant contributions inside and outside RIKEN.”
