On February 25, 2025, Dr. Tomasz M. Rutkowski, Research Scientist from the Cognitive Behavioral Assistive Technology Team at RIKEN AIP, gave an educational lecture entitled “EEG-fNIRS-Eye Tracking Fusion for Neurocognitive Insights”in the “BCI & Neurotechnology Masterclass” hosted by g.tec medical engineering GmbH.
This event served as a platform for sharing the latest research and applications in brain-computer interface (BCI) technology utilizing electroencephalography (EEG) and functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS). Approximately 2,000 attendees joined via the online platforms ZOOM and WeChat. Dr. Tomasz M. Rutkowski’s lecture was highly praised, generating significant engagement and numerous questions from participants.
