Dr. Masaaki Komatsu, Deputy Team Director of the AI Medical Engineering Team, delivered an invited talk at the American Heart Association (AHA) Scientific Sessions 2025.
The AHA is one of the world’s largest and most influential medical societies, widely recognized as a global authority in cardiovascular medicine. It is renowned for establishing international guidelines on cardiovascular disease prevention and for its leadership in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) education.
The session focused on the latest trends in applying AI technologies to ultrasound diagnostics, electrocardiogram analysis, and real-world data analytics for both congenital and acquired heart diseases. Following the presentations, the speakers engaged in a debate on the usefulness of AI in this medical field.
