Event Recap: 2024 IEEE CAI (Singapore, Marina Bay Sands)
From June 25th to 27th, 2024, the first IEEE Conference on Artificial Intelligence (IEEE CAI 2024) was held at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. This conference, focused on specific industrial applications of artificial intelligence, brought together industry leaders, government officials, and innovators from startups to explore the future of AI.
Attendees had the opportunity to engage directly with experts and providers, gaining the inspiration, solutions, and ideas necessary for their fields.
IEEE CAI 2024 was sponsored by IEEE and four of its technical societies. Center Director, Masashi Sugiyama, served as the Program Co-Chair, offering a valuable platform for exploring the cutting edge of AI research and practice and fostering technological innovation.
Additionally, Prof. Sugiyama participated in a panel discussion titled “AI for Good: Transforming Science for Global Impact” moderated by . Prof. Simon See from the NVIDIA AI Technology Center and AI Nation. The discussion explored how AI could transform the future of scientific research and have a global impact.
