42 undergraduate and graduate students from 25 European countries participating in the MIRAI Program 2018 visited the RIKEN Center for Advance Intelligence Project (AIP) in Tokyo on January 28, 2019.
After Coordinator Akira Takahashi introduced AIP, Geoinformatics Unit Leader Naoto Yokoya gave a presentation. He spoke about his unit’s research, focusing on technology for geospatial data analysis which is expected to be useful for resolving problems related to global warming and large-scale natural disasters. In the Q&A session after his talk MIRAI program participants asked many questions and discussions were held.
