The RIKEN Ouka 2024 Award has been presented, as of March 2025, to researchers who have achieved outstanding accomplishments in research and development.
From the RIKEN AIP, the following individuals have received the award:
- Zhang Zhen-Yu ( Postdoctoral Researcher) of the Imperfect Information Learning Team
Awarded for: Contributions to improving the inference and adaptability of large-scale foundation models - Heinzerling Benjamin Tobias (Deputy Team Leader) of the Natural Language Understanding Team
Awarded for: Significant contributions to the analysis of knowledge representation in large language models - Wang Andong (Postdoctoral Researcher) of the Tensor Learning Team
Awarded for: Robust machine learning with advanced tensor decomposition techniques - Tsuchiya Taira (Visiting Scientist) of the Sequential Decision Making Team
Awarded for: Development and analysis of environment-adaptive policies in sequential decision-making problems
The RIKEN Ohbu Award is presented to young researchers and staff who have made notable contributions through active research activities and outstanding research and development support achievements, or through the societal promotion of their achievements via industrial applications.
