The Ohbu Award (Researcher Incentive Award and Technician Incentive Award) is given to young researchers and technicians who have contributed to furthering RIKEN’s ideals by achieving exemplary results in their research or research support activities. Total number of awardees is around 50.

This Year, three researchers in AIP Center received the Ohbu Award:

Tomotaka Kuwahara, Research Scientist (Mathematical Science Team, PI: Kenichi Bannai) [bottom right]
Tatsumi Uezato, Postdoctoral Researcher (Geoinformatics Unit, PI: Naoto Yokoya) [middle right]
Takeshi Teshima, Junior Research Associate (Imperfect Information Learning Team, PI: Masashi Sugiyama) [bottom left]
